Q: Who can take a course?
Courses are offered to anyone in the United States over 13 years of age.
Q: How do I enroll in a course?
When you purchase a course, you will be given a username and password. You can use that information to login and access your course materials.
Q: How are courses paced & what deadlines must I meet?
The initial release of a course instructor-paced. This means new content will be released each week. However, there are no due dates. You have 365 days from the time you purchase a course to complete all quizzes and receive your certificate.
How can I get help with my course or contact course staff?
Each course has a forum discussion board where you can view questions, answers and comments from fellow course members, as well as post your own questions. Discussion forums are monitored by course staff.
Where can I find my certificate once I pass my course?
Certificates will be available as soon as you complete all lessons, quizzes and assignments. You will see a link to download a PDF copy of your certificate in your My Profile section.
Payments & Refunds
Q: What types of payments do you accept?
For your convenience, we accept all major credit cards through Paypal and Stripe. We only accept payments online, which allows you to access your course immediately after payment.
Q: How long do I have access to the materials?
You have 365 days from the time you purchase a course to complete the materials.
Q: Do you offer refunds?
Yes, we will be happy to offer a refund within 30 days of your initial purchase should you decide that the course is not right for you. No refund will be issued after 30 days from the original purchase.
Q: Will you offer courses outside the US in the future?
Hopefully! International taxes are complicated, so but we hope expand outside of the US soon.
Q: What type of certificate will I receive?
Once you have successfully completed the course, you will receive a PDF with your name and a timestamp saying you successfully completed the course.
Q: Will the certificate include my final grade or number of credit hours?
No, the certificate does not include your final grade or an estimated number of course hours.
Q: Does the certificate convey academic or continuing education credit?
No, your certificate simply states that you have completed the course. It does not in any way imply you were enrolled in an academic course at an accredited institute of higher learning or are have taken continuing education credits.
